Travel Sales Support Executive
We are looking for an experienced administration professional to join an expanding travel business as a Travel Sales Support Executive.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the company at an exciting time of growth and will suit those with exceptional administration support skills, and a keen interest in travel.
Although this is primarily an admin role there will be opportunities to assist in other areas of the business and gain a lateral knowledge of the travel industry, with the potential for career progression into other areas of the business. This is a hybrid role with the requirement to work an agreed number of days in the company’s sales office in a rural location near Salisbury.

The key skills and attributes required for the role include:
- A minimum of three years administration experience.
- A proven track record of working with in-house systems.
- Flexible approach to working tasks and responsibilities to support the team as required.
- Excellent verbal, and written, communication skills & ability to listen and recall detail.
- Ability to work unaided using own initiative, multi-task and pay attention to detail.
- High level of numeracy and ability to problem solve.
- Desire to work in a dynamic small company.
Interest and passion for travel is desirable and would prove beneficial for the role
The main tasks of the role include:
- Provide administrative support to a team of 6 Sales Consultants.
- Prepare client invoices and confirmed travel itineraries.
- Issue travel documents through third party suppliers.
- Updating in house reservation system, spreadsheets, and a CMS.
- Contacting clients to request outstanding information pre-travel.
- Following up with clients on return to request feedback and reviews.
- Monitoring website live chat enquiries.
General support as required to meet the needs of the business.
This is a full-time permanent role with working hours of 37.5 hours per week (Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am – 5.30pm). Our client is offering a starting salary of £25,000 per annum with the possibility of negotiation for the right candidate.
Our client operates from a beautiful, converted barn around 5 miles west of Salisbury City centre. Parking is offered onsite to staff and due to the semi-rural location, all applicants must have a full licence and own vehicle to access the office. Generous holiday entitlement offered with genuine progression within the business. There will be the opportunity to travel for work on occasion although this isn’t mandatory for the successful applicant.
