You will be working alongside our Case Managers, travelling to pick up required documents and meeting potential beneficiaries face to face.
You will be dealing with the delicate subject of a family member passing away, explaining the process and filling in an interview questionnaire asking about the potential heirs family before selling the contract.
The interview process takes about 1 hour. All literature is pre-printed and supplied by us. The industry is very competitive and you will need to sell the firm without discrediting competitors. We get a minimal warning about the need for a visit; usually we start the research into a family and are making contact with potential heirs within the first hour. Most visit are pre-arranged; However some are cold-called. We also hope you would be able to conduct property searches, retrieving personal information and any valuables, together with taking a photographic record to the property. These searches are always pre-arranged and can take several hours.
We are looking for individuals who are honest, reliable and ethical. This is a sensitive subject that comes around because an individual has passed away, often with no known family. Being able to listen and empathise helps to quickly build trust with the families. You'll also need to be able to adapt the way you communicate to meet the needs of different people. Any FLO training you have received is a useful asset.
The successful candidate will need to have a full UK driving license and your own means of transport with insurance coverage for business travelling.
