Treasury & Banking Assistant

Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working with a well-established client in Newcastle who are seeking an experienced Treasury & Banking Assistant to join their team. The role is a permanent, hybrid opportunity with fixed working hours of 08:30 am to 17:30 pm with a 1-hour lunch break.

Working in a fast-paced team your duties will include:

• Perform daily bank account downloads, payment processing, and reconciliation.
• Update and manage financial spreadsheets and databases.
• Generate and process high-value payment runs.
• Assist advisers with their regulatory returns to the FCA.
• Engage with colleagues and partners from around the business on a daily basis.
• Investigate and respond to payment queries.
• Provide support to the wider Finance Team.
• Meet daily SLA targets.

You will have:

• Effective organisation and time management skills.
• An analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Innovative and forward-thinking, with the ability to think outside the box.
• Good customer service delivery skills.
• Experience in a similar finance role is desirable but not essential.
