🔍 Job Description:

As an Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing risk for our clients. You will be responsible for analysing insurance applications, evaluating potential risks, and determining the terms and conditions of coverage. Your expert knowledge in income protection, life, and critical illness will be essential in making informed decisions and providing accurate recommendations.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

Assessing insurance applications accurately and efficiently
Conducting detailed risk analysis for income protection, life, and critical illness policies
Collaborating with the sales team to evaluate potential clients' needs and objectives
Providing guidance and recommendations to internal stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company guidelines
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends, products, and competitors

🌐 Contract Details:

- 💲 Daily Rate: £300 - £325 inside IR35 via umbrella

- 📅 Contract Length: 3 months initially

- ✏️ Contract Type: Temporary

- 🌍 Benefits: Remote working (UK only)

🎯 Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Underwriter in the insurance industry
Expertise in income protection, life, and critical illness policies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in risk assessment and evaluation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective communication and negotiation abilities
Qualifications, such as the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), are desirable but not essential
