We have a fantastic new opportunity to join HMP Eastwood Park as an Unscheduled Care Lead!
Our new Unscheduled Care Lead will provide leadership and line management to the wider Unscheduled Care team, providing outstanding care to patients at all times. Reporting to the Clinical Lead, ensuring that the service meets our contractual obligations.
Some of your responsibilities within this role will include:
- Deliver high quality, compassionate care to all within the prison in line with CQC requirements
- Act on patient feedback to promote patient engagement, putting this at the centre of service delivery
- Inspire your team and the wider healthcare team
- Proactively lead the service and motivate the team
- Promote best practice in the field of Unscheduled Care, triage and emergency response
- Carry out comprehensive assessments, communicating treatment options and initiate supportive care plans
- Work on a 1-1 basis alongside the wider multi-disciplinary team

What you'll be doing
Our new Unscheduled Care Lead will ideally have:
- Degree or appropriate equivalent experience or clinical qualification
- Experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience of working in CQC or equivalent registered services
- Understanding of clinical governance
Knowledge of healthcare policies and best practice

HMP Eastwood Park is a women's closed category prison, located in the village of Falfield in South Gloucestershire, with an operational capacity of around 360.
