Met Geo Environmental Ltd is a well-established multi-disciplinary survey consultancy first established in 1990 with over 35 qualified surveyors and geophysicists.
About the Role:
As a Utility Surveyor, you will be an integral part of our site team, working alongside two or three colleagues. Your primary focus will be on projects in Yorkshire and the M62 corridor, with occasional work throughout the UK. Your responsibilities will include utility surveys, adhering to PAS128 specifications, and using advanced detection methods to locate buried features. You will also process data, create AutoCAD drawings, and prepare reports for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct utility surveys, following PAS128 specifications
- Work in a field-based team, performing geophysical surveys
- Utilise electromagnetic detection and ground-penetrating radar
- Process data and prepare AutoCAD drawings and reports
- Ensure high-quality, accurate deliverables within tight timelines
About You:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:
- Keen and enthusiastic with a passion for outdoor work
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Commitment to health and safety protocols
- Willingness to travel across the UK and occasionally stay overnight
- Flexibility regarding working hours
- Team player, willing to develop skills under supervision
- Minimum of 2 A Levels or equivalent
- Motivation and dedication to build a career in utility mapping
- Valid UK or European driving license
- UK residency or the right to work/stay with relevant permits/visas
- Proficient in written and spoken English
