Position Title: Experience Designer I

EA SPORTS is one of the most iconic brands in entertainment – connecting hundreds of millions around the world to the sports they love through a portfolio of industry-leading video games. Based at our Southam HQ, near to Leamington Spa, we are looking for a UX Designer to support the user experience design for EA Sports Platform. The Sports Platform team is fast-evolving, charged with accelerating the combination of Live Sports and Gaming. Reporting to the Senior UX Designer, you will have an interest in Mobile Development. This is a meaningful and varied role that demands an awareness of our players and a passion for delivering a user-driven product.
Responsibilities
- You will create innovative, emotive, and fun solutions to complex UX problems
- Design solutions: concepts, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes while iterating based on your research, team feedback, and user feedback
- Collaborate with Product, UI Design, and Development, to understand UX goals for new and evolving features
- Maintain an awareness of industry trends, ensuring our experience is aligned with our users expectations
- Work with partners to evaluate and translate research findings into actionable results
- Help our team empathise with users and advocate for usability and accessibility
Main Skills and Experience:
- Background in user centred design, UX design, product design, or interaction design
- A portfolio demonstrating UX design solutions with an emphasis on mobile applications
- Experience with wireframe and prototype development software (Figma or Adobe XD is acceptable)
- An interest in psychology, user behaviour and cognitive science
- Prepared to travel on company business at short notice and willingness to work additional hours to meet the demands of the growing team
