The opportunity: Marketing Assistant, based in Purfleet, Essex/Hybrid
About the opportunity:
This is a brilliant opportunity to grow your marketing career and learn from our fabulous team of experts in the Customer Marketing team here at Carpetright. This is a multichannel role that covers all our campaigns across POS, advertising, content, and PR, with the aim of delivering a first-class customer centric marketing service.
A snapshot of some of the tasks is outlined below:
- You’ll have day to day liaison with our POS supplier and manage the requirements.
- You will coordinate range launch plans with the support of the Marketing Manager, including print to ensure it’s delivered on time and to budget
- Compile, distribute and present plans outlining content, advertising creative and PR plans in line with agreed campaign and marketing plans.
- Create digital content to be used across CRM, site, and social media platforms
- Coordinate creative shoots to targets agreed with head of brand
- Manage PO process for marketing including reconciliation.
- Produce Monthly and campaign end reporting for KPIs and SLAs performance.
About you:
- You’ll be a super-efficient organiser with excellent attention to detail, preferably with office administration experience
- A great work ethic and the ability to manage deadlines with a smile and sense of humour.
- PC literate with an excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- A fantastic communicator, both written and verbal
- You’ll be able to initiate and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A marketing qualification would be desirable, although not essential
