Assist Resourcing is looking for 3.5 Tonne drivers in Wigan to work for our client, who supply Greek & Cypriot foods across the UK.

- Do you have at least 12 months previous experience driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle?
- Where you born in or after 1998?
Working as a 3.5 Tonne Driver:
We are looking for 3.5 Tonne Drivers who will be doing the following:
- Driving a 3.5 Tonne vehicle
- Transporting frozen, chilled and ambient foods to takeaways, restaurants and catering vans
- Delivering as far as Peterborough, London and up to Edinburgh
- Unloading the empty pallets from the van
- Cleaning the inside of the van and ensuring strict H&S standards are met
- Dealing with customers
- Handling and logging receipt of cash
- Vehicle Maintenance Checks
The Shift times & working hours of a 3.5 Tonne Driver:
- Fixed rota
- Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday to begin with - this will increase in May
- Usual 7 am start times (occassionally earlier starts required)
- 6 - 12 hour shifts
