Due to continued customer demand across the private & public sectors our client seeks to recruit an experienced Van Driver to join their team specialising in Water / Beverage Distribution throughout Northern Ireland. You will become part of a small yet experienced team delivering to both commercial and business premises ensuring customer orders are delivered on time whilst offering exceptional customer service. Experience and Qualifications:
- Category B licence
- Minimum 12 months previous van driving & multi drop experience essential
- Counterbalance forklift licence is desirable although not essential
- Excellent geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland
- Ability to effectively route plan deliveries
- Manual handling and heavy lifting is required for this role
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills
- Adaptable to business needs and customer demands
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the efficient distribution of water barrels, coolers and dispensers to commercial and business premises throughout Northern Ireland
- Installations & maintenance of equipment
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Loading & unloading of goods at customer premises and at depot
- Ensure full compliance with H&S & manual handling guidelines
- Complete all aspects of delivery paperwork & basic administration
- Compliance with road safety regulations and vehicle checks
