Van Technician Job in Avonmouth

LCV/Van Technician required in Avonmouth. 

• Starting salary up to £36,500 per annum. 
• Either 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm paid as overtime

Our client, an independent family-run automotive service centre/leasing and hire specialist who have operated for over 45 years in the Avonmouth region, are currently looking to recruit an Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV)/Van Technician to join their business.
 
Reporting to the Garage Manager and working as part of a friendly team in a modern fully equipped workshop, as an LCV/Van Technician your main duties will include carrying out fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repairs on customer's vehicles to a high standard (our client predominantly handles LCV/vans however they do also repair cars). You will need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Garage Manager as required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability. and performance. As an LCV/Van Technician, you will need to ensure that Health & Safety, as well as work quality procedures relating to the task at hand, are always adhered to. 
To be eligible an IMI/NVQ Level3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair would be essential to our client at this stage. You will need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, have your own fully stocked tools, be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team. Candidates with a valid class 4 MOT testing licence or experience with commercial vehicles would be highly advantageous however this is non-essential as training for this can be provided.
