Vat Assistant Manager

Description

• Handle complex VAT matters for a portfolio of clients
• Provide high-quality advice to clients on VAT issues
• Liaise with HMRC on VAT enquiries
• Support the wider tax team with research and planning
• Contribute to the development of the VAT service line
• Participate in business development activities
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT legislation
• Mentor junior team members

Profile

A successful VAT Assistant Manager should have:

• Ideally CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent
• Proven experience in a VAT role within a professional services firm
• Excellent knowledge of VAT legislation
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly
• Good leadership and mentorship abilities
