RMS Are working with an outstanding automotive client; We are looking for Vehicle Maintenance Operatives to join our team. Our client is well-known for providing vehicle storage, inspection, maintenance, dispatch and transportation facilities!

About the role?
Working under the supervision and co-ordination of the Compound Manager and Team Leader, you will be required to carry out Vehicle Maintenance chekcs within the site correctly and as efficiently as possible.
Key responsibilities of the Role:
- To locate and Inspect the all vehicles within the compound.
- To check the battery condition of all vehicles within the compound.
- To check the general condition of vehicles within the compound.
- To support with vehicle movements around the site during quieter times.
- To complete all relevant paperwork and report any discrepancies.
- To ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function.
Shifts: Day shift between 8am – 5pm. Monday to Friday
The primary function of this role operates outdoors in a large automotive compound facility. As this is a 24-hour operation, its associated duties are conducted in varying weather conditions throughout the year (PPE is provided to support such tasks). You will be expected to store and transport vehicles in an outdoor logistics facility which also involves moderate amounts of general walking throughout the working day.

About you?
- You must hold a Valid Driving Licence with less than 6 penalty points and no DR offences for an insurance purpose
- You should be confident in your driving and have experience with automatic and manual vehicles
- The ideal candidate will have had previous experience working within a automotive compound preferably as a compound driver.
- To be able to work independently but liaise effectively with colleagues and support each department to ensure quality in maintained.
