Our hospital is excellently equipped with everything we need to provide exceptional care.
We have CT Imaging, digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, bronchoscope and endoscope, blood pressure machine, ECG, full lab including microscope, haematology and biochemistry analyser, bone kit as well as full ex-lap kit including suction and diathermy and lap spay equipment.
It's also great for surgical exposure with two theatres, both with viewing windows and one with direct access to a separate x-ray room.
This role works to a 4-day week with 1:6 weekends.
Medivet Camberwell is the 24-Hour centre in the region, we provide access to advanced diagnostics and seamless round the clock care managed by our dedicated night team.
We have a fantastic team of nine vets, including a certificate holder in internal medicine, qualified nurses, support from our SVN/PCA’s and dedicated Client Care Assistants.

Role Accountabilities:
Exceptional care is at the heart of everything we do at Medivet. That’s the care for our patients, our clients and for each other – we really want to make a positive difference through every interaction we have.
In this role you will:
- Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
- Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.
- Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
- Deliver patient monitoring and care.
- Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
- Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.
- Dispense and check medication.
- Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
- Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.
Your Skills and Experience:
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
- Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
- Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
- Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
