Overview
The Vice President, GTM Commercialization, Global SME based in Europe will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing go-to-market strategies for newly developed products targeted to the small and medium business segments and delivering on pilot and full commercial launch targets in shared accountability with regional teams. This is not a product management function, but rather a go-to-market function.
Reporting to the EVP of Global SME, the Vice President, GTM CommercializationGlobal SME will co-lead and provide expertise and guidance to Commercialization leads in the regions.
Key responsibilities comprise four key areas with respect to newly introduced products: revenue target delivery, driving market penetration and acceleration, sales enablement for new products, and strengthening the product value proposition via feedback from customers.
Role
- Develop GTM playbooks and training materials for newly developed products, for the use of regional Commercialization leads, CSC personnel, and account managers.
- Drive deep understanding of newly developed SME products on the part of the regional Commercialization leads and sales teams.
- Identify top GTM opportunities in collaboration with regional Commercialization leads and sales teams.
- Jointly conduct customer pitches with regional counterparts, especially during pilot and early commercialization phases of each new product introduction.
- Track and deliver on business KPIs related to newly introduced products jointly with the Commercialization leads in the regions.
- Coordinate technical GTM and implementation planning in partnership with Global SME SVP of Engineering as well as Global Customer Delivery team.
- Participate and contribute to the sales planning process with sales teams in markets.
- Understand customer needs regarding newly developed products and share with global New Product Development teams to guide product localization, integrations, and further product enhancements.
- Drive thought leadership on pricing and commercial terms for newly developed products, to contribute to the regional processes.
All About You
- In-depth understanding and prior experience in the payments industry.
- Strong experience in sales and/or business development for financial products; direct experience selling SAAS solutions preferred.
- Prior experience in driving adoption of solutions for small and medium businesses preferred.
- Strong understanding of relevant market trends in the region.
- A results-oriented leader able to drive results and with proven experience in developing go-to-market strategies of new and innovative products and end-to-end product strategy and delivery of scalable solutions.
- Excellent communications and influencing skillset to articulate the value of change and new strategies to the overall business goals.
- Ability to lead cross-function and multi-location teams.
- Organizational savviness to navigate a highly matrixed organization and resilience to thrive in high pressure goal-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree. MBA preferred.
- English is mandatory. Proficiency in Spanish, German, French, or Arabic is a differentiator.
- Willingness to travel throughout the European and Middle Eastern /Africa regions.
