The team you’ll work with:
The Enterprise Software Credit Solutions team works with exciting, high-growth businesses across a broad range of sub-sectors and life-stages, from early-stage seed deals through high profile, late stage companies pre-IPO or reaching profitability. The team works across the spectrum of HINV’s financing solutions including venture debt, late stage growth capital, working capital, and recurring revenue facilities.
The value you’ll add:
The VP II on the Enterprise Software team owns the underwriting, approval and closing process for assigned clients and prospects. You will engage and build relationships with key client stakeholders to remain well-informed, and will be able to respond to changing circumstances while appropriately balancing client and HSBC Innovation Banking ('HINV') needs. You’ll develop and deliver insights and points of view on loan types and credit/performance trends in sectors/sub-sectors and remain abreast of market, sector and competitive trends.
What you can expect to be doing:
Taking responsibility for ensuring delivery of high quality output from the team – memos, financial modelling, analytics and structuring through own work and coaching and overseeing Associates and ADP colleagues.
Partnering with Technology Banking Team, clients/prospects, Credit Admin, Legal and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
Building and nurturing relationships with CFOs and Finance Teams, as well as the wider C-Suite where relevant.
Accountable for managing assigned portfolio of borrowing relationships, reviewing information, evaluating risk, and engaging with clients, building relationships with appropriate stakeholders.
Developing and demonstrating subject matter expertise within the team including market, sub-sector and competitive trends, business models, lending models and making the group more scalable through optimizing how we conduct business and manage the portfolio.
