Volunteer Recruitment and Training Manager
Based South Ribble with travel across the 5 local authority areas (mainly based in Leyland/Chorley)
37 hours per week between Monday and Friday
£32,000.00 + 8% employer contribution to pension

Our client is looking for someone with great interpersonal skills to recruit and train volunteers and support training for paid staff across their Charity.
This is a key role in the service to help increase volunteer capacity to allow the charity to reach more people that need help.
This role will develop lots of opportunities to recruit volunteers by use of:
- social media
- presentations to small groups
- running open days
- Attending events
- building a network of contacts within the 3rd sector
This role will support paid staff training provision and sourcing cost effective training solutions for both paid and voluntary staff as training needs arise. You should be confident in delivering training in small groups as well as providing one to one support and feedback. This role looks after all training administration and Training records for all staff and volunteers within the service.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a background within the 3rd Sector, they should:
- have excellent IT skills
- be a self-motivated problem solver with creative ideas
- have an understanding of recruiting volunteers and managing a training provision within a 3rd sector (preferable)
- support their diversity and equal opportunities policies
- be confident in being able to challenge attitudes that would not fit in with our clients ethics

- Salary £32,000.00 for 37 hours
