The role
A highly ambitious and self-motivated Business Development professional to drive sales across the region target all market segments. This is a new business hunter and closer role. We have a highly attractive and compelling offer that saves customers money, improves equipment reliability and reduces their carbon foot-print.
You will be expected to understand how our products can benefit target customers and deliver compelling and relevant sales presentations, which cover the benefits and the logistics of how they can practically install and use our solutions within their operations. The opportunity is enormous and only limited by your own ability and desire to find and close sales. You will respond to inquiries generated by our general marketing program, as well as pro-actively target and approach new opportunities within your region.
This role will suit an ambitious commercially minded and driven individual who enjoys hard work, over-coming challenges and the reward of seeing a new product change industries, along with commensurate prospects for significant financial reward based upon sales.
The role will require:
- Pro-active Business Development – generating new leads and opportunities as well as responding to inquiries.
- Preparation of professional, compelling, and complete customer proposals.
- Commercial acumen that enables identification of customer value points and the ability to relate that to our products.
- Ability to deal professionally and properly with people from all cultures, countries and levels from CEO to maintenance engineer.
- A genuine commitment to find and close sales.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills, qualities and experience:
- At least 5 years previous sales experience of products or services into industrial markets.
- Proven experience of closing sales of substantial value.
- Pro-active self-starter with an inquisitive nature.
- A good communicator able to explain complexity, simply.
- Ability to work in a disciplined manner, alone and or as a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and oral English.
Location: Asia /Middle East
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08.30am to 05.30pm.
40 hours pw can be of the following 08:00 - 16:30, 8:30 - 17:00 or 9 - 17:30. Half hour for lunch.
Salary: £75,000 pa base, plus performance uncapped sales linked bonus – expected on target bonus of between £200k and £100k.
