Waitress/ Waiter

​​​​​​​We are currently looking for full-time bar and waiting staff to join our team at Nor' Loft, the rooftop Champagne lounge located within the Market Street hotel.

A passion and knowledge about food, ingredients and drinks will be a required essential base. Passion for the hospitality industry is essential as you will need to learn the extensive champagne and spirits list and quickly familiarise yourself with our Bites & Nibbles menu which changes seasonally.

You should have personality in abundance to interact with our guests, good sales skills, the ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure. Previous experience in the hospitality industry is highly recommended however if you have a passion for food & drink and enjoy interacting with customers then the rest can be taught.

Duties will include:

Welcoming and greeting our guests and showing them to their table

Taking orders for food and drink, entering this onto the EPOS and communicating clearly and effectively with the kitchen team

Serving food and drinks to customers in line with our designated procedures

Always being passionate and knowledgeable about our the Nor’ Loft & Market Street hotel

Clearing, cleaning and tidying tables, resetting tables ready for service

Communicating effectively with the whole team to ensure our high standards are met.

Hours of Work:

We have a variety of hours available, including breakfast, day and evening shifts for you to take advantage of to fit around any commitments; plus, huge opportunities for progression and to learn new skills.

Your rate of pay will vary dependant on your experience, starting from £11.44p/h, plus additional tips, up to £4000 per annum (based on full time hours). We pay for every hour you work
