Our client based in Smethwick, a leading supplier within their industry, are looking for an experienced Warehouse Administrator to join there ever growing, friendly team.
The successful candidate will be Responsible for all designated Warehouse Operations and administrative activities, receiving, storage and picking of products within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checking of orders ready for packing in the warehouse.
- Enter consignments onto carrier websites/portals and match up labels with delivery note prior to labelling.
- Produce pallet delivery labels.
- Produce carrier manifests.
- Book in deliveries with customers via telephone and email.
- Check all consignments are on the correct delivery slot.
- Consult with carriers on collections and deliveries and obtaining delivery quotes.
- Scan previous days pick tickets for KPI collation each day.
- Produce commercial orders for relevant customer orders.
- Planning of special customer orders and prepare labels prior to despatch.
- Update relevant collection/delivery spreadsheets and other documents as required.
- Consult with other departments where necessary to complete role responsibility.
- Conducting stock counts in the warehouse and administration of daily stock counts, including investigations and adjustments with prior approval.
- Updating consumables stock and notifying purchasing.
- Creating container/delivery documentation for goods in team.
- Prepare and issue internal rework transfer workload for warehouse staff.
- Assistance to Supervisors when planning daily activities.
- Performs all other duties as assigned to cover holidays within warehouse/office.
ESSENTIAL:
- At least 12 months previous experience in a similar position.
- Previous experience on carrier booking portals.
- Literate & Numerate Maths & English GCSE (or Equivalent).
- IT literate (word/excel).
- Previous Experience working in a warehouse environment.
DESIRABLE:
- Competent on Sage 200.
