About The Role
We are working in partnership with a growing EPC Contractor in the UK predominately working within the Power Industry. We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to join the Principal Contractor on a large-scale OCGT plant based in Stewartby, Bedfordshire. The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will oversee all warehousing and distribution operations in the warehouse. We are looking for someone who has experience in documenting receipts, dispatching of goods to and from site, managing the warehouse staff, and overseeing any vehicles arriving to and from the main warehouse. You will also oversee, train, evaluate and reward staff throughout the project.

Roles Responsibilities for the Warehouse & Logistics Manager:

* Overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
* Implementing operational policies and procedures.
* Implementing and overseeing security operations.
* Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
* Ensuring safety of staff.
* Motivating and disciplining staff.
* Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
* Maintaining awareness and knowledge of condition and location of fleet vehicles.
* Assisting with deliveries where required.

Skills and Qualifications:

* 5+ years warehouse management experience.
* Good understanding of warehouse management procedures.
* Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
* Valid drivers' license.
* Ability to operate forklift effectively.
* Good computer skills.
* Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
* Strong people skills.
* Available to work extended hours.

* Bedfordshire
* �400.00 to �450.00 per day
* Immediate start for 8-12 months
