Warehouse Shift Manager

Location: Biggleswade
Salary: £40,000
Hours: 6 - 2 and 2 - 10 on weekly rotating shifts Monday to Friday
Summary:
An experienced Warehouse Shift Manager is required for this fast-paced role in a demanding 3PL retail logistics environment. You will be managing the day-to-day warehouse operations of a high-profile fashion client ensuring operational efficiencies, service levels, people management and targets are met within the SLA. Directly responsible for up to 4 Team Leaders and approximately 100 staff, mentoring their development and motivating them to exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and document continuous improvement within systems and processes for the site.
• Maintain and develop customer relationships.
• Lead and develop a team.
• Champion a safe working environment
• Create, manage and review SOPs, KPIs and H&S
• Work to budgets
• Maintain an effective, harmonious, and safe working environment.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Previous supervisory/shift management experience
• Experience of working within a 3PL warehouse
• Be able to work a rotating shift pattern
• Working knowledge of WMS
• Able to deliver continuous improvement methodologies.
