SalaryA Warehouse and Operations Manager is being sought to further strengthen the UK Warehouse team in this award winning international business.
Reporting to the Operations Director the Warehouse and Operations Manager will oversee all Warehouse and Distribution within the UK and Europe and also hold responsibility for facilities within the building. The role will also give performance visibility through KPI tracking and development, increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity and ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget. The role will have c. 10 direct reports so a need to track and maintain staffing requirements is essential, as well as recruiting new staff as needed.

Key responsibilities of the Warehouse and Operations Manager include:
- Lead, motivate and support the warehouse team.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
- Meet operational goals.
- Support with 3PL Contract Management.
- Facilities Management within Head Office building.
- Implement operational policies and procesures.
- Ensure a safe working environment.
- Staff motivation and discipline.
- Ensure maintenance of documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Budget reviews and cost reporting to senior Management.
- Establish and develop reporting procedures.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve procedures and systems.
We seek a Warehouse and Operations Manager with prior Warehouse Management experience who has outstanding leadership, organisational, multi tasking and problem solving skills and who is an excellent communicator. You also have a strong appreciation of best practice warehouse management procedures and have deep knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
