A bit about the role...

Day to day, you’ll be overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products. You will need to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly. Here’s a few more points about the role:

• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
• Maintaining the inventory book balanced at all time – adhering to the target stock level and ensuring correct stock rotation.
• Ensure the warehouse operation is complying with all Health and safety/compliance and food safety standards
• Introducing appropriate key performance indicators and analysing data for process improvement, equipment optimisation and resource management efficiency.
• Developing and implementing processes and flowchart.
• Analysing and utilising space and layout for storage optimisation.
• Achieving financial objectives by preparing the annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing gap and overspending by taking corrective steps.

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager – expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Have experience of six sigma/ prince 2 methodologies
• Good knowledge of stock control systems
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred)
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
