Warehouse Assistant

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team at our facility in the heart of Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse duties, ensuring efficient operations and timely fulfilment of orders.

Duties:
- Perform heavy lifting tasks to handle incoming and outgoing shipments
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to operate equipment and machinery for warehouse operations
- Engage in picking, packing, and materials handling activities accurately
- Load and unload goods from lorries and containers
- Assist in building and assembling products as required
- Proficiently operate a forklift for material handling within the warehouse

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks consistently
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of warehouse equipment and tools
- Proficiency in picking, packing, and materials handling procedures
- Competence in loading/unloading goods efficiently
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one

Pay: From £24,375.00 per year
