Job Description
Duties will include but not limited to: -
- Put away Water Samples into storage: This involves moving water samples from Phase III to the refrigerated storage unit where they must be put into storage and the storage location scanned, updating the storage data base.
- Put away Soil Samples into storage: This involves moving soil samples from the wooden shed at Phase II into the upstairs warehouse where they must be put into storage and the storage location scanned, updating the storage data base.
- Disposal of Water Samples: This involves removing water samples from the refrigerated storage unit, moving them to the appropriate skip and putting them them the skip for disposal.
- Disposal of Soil samples: This involves removing soil samples from the upstairs warehouse storage unit, moving them to the appropriate skip and putting them into the skip for disposal.
- Pick and Pack consumable materials for fulfilment of customer orders.
- Put away (park the forklifts) at the end of each workday shift.
- Assist with any other warehouse operation activities as required.
- Operate a forklift to move samples between various locations. (A valid forklift license is needed)
