WAREHOUSE DESPATCH OPERATIVE

MONDAY - SUNDAY: 4-5 DAYS OUT OF 7

0600-1800 / 1800-0400 / 0800-1800 / 2000-0600

£11.24 - 12.77 PER HOUR

People Solutions are looking for Despatch Operatives to work for our well known Client based in Bredbury, Stockport (SK6)

Due to the shifts and the start and finish times, it would be ideal if you have your own transport or live locally.

Due to the nature of the business, the busiest days are Thursday – Monday. This means you would have to be available to work these days.

These days could change depending on the needs of the business.

On a 12 hour shift, you will receive 4 x 30 minutes breaks. All breaks are paid.

Day to Day Duties

Working in the Despatch Department of our food manufacturing site, you will be performing tasks such as:

• Order Picking
• Breaking down baskets
• Loading/ Unloading vehicles
• General housekeeping within the department

Essential Skills

English level must be communicative.
Previous warehouse / production experience is required
PPE required - Safety boots & hi-vis
Must be available to work weekends.
Pick and Packing experience is required.

Desirable Experience

Preferable if you have previously worked in despatch

What training is provided?

• Full training is provided
• While training, for the first couple of weeks you will be placed on day shifts to ensure you receive the maximum support required
• Once you’re trained, you will be allocated to night shifts. Training length will depend on each individual
