Warehouse & Logistics Manager

SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe with strong positions in its core markets as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and as a merchant of roofing and exteriors products.  
We are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Manager who will manage the warehouse layout, to ensure health & safety, efficiency and best practice at all times.
What does the role involve?
As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for a number of direct line reports and will you will be expected to adhere to our Zero Harm policy and ensure that members of your wider team act in accordance with these principles. The successful candidate will work closely with the transport team to plan delivery in line with customer expectations, will be responsible for the entire employee life cycle for all direct reports and will show a high level of leadership at all times. In addition, you will be responsible for amending the K8 system with branch and stock updates and you will ensure stock is always managed effectively and stored safely.
The successful candidate will require:
•    Hold a valid FLT Counterbalance Certificate
•    Ability to demonstrate self-motivation and strong people management skills
•    Good understanding of the manual handling requirements and legalities
•    Ability to use IT packages (including Word and Excel)
