SalaryReed are working in partnership with a Manufacturing business in Long Eaton and are seeking a Warehouse Manager.
This is a full-time, permanent role. The ideal candidate will be adept at spotting potential issues before they arise and ensuring the smooth operation of our business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead various departments including Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Services, Sales, Finance, IT, Programming, Design, and Artwork.
- Proactively identify potential issues and liaise with customer service and production to ensure critical jobs are dispatched on time.
- Work with the IT manager to identify and rectify system errors.
- Analyse business outcomes to learn and improve processes.
- Monitor customer feedback and oversee the resolution of customer complaints.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with staff and manage annual appraisals.
- Collaborate with the leadership team on budgets, pricing, appraisals, and financial decisions.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations management within a similar industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and support a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate potential issues.
- Experience in overseeing customer service and production processes.
- Familiarity with IT systems and the ability to work with IT staff to resolve technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback.
- Financial acumen to assist with budgeting and pricing decisions.
