SF Recruitment are supporting a leading retailer in recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join on a permanent basis.
As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring timely deliveries, accurate inventory management, and a safe and productive work environment for the team.
The Role:
-As the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of inventory control, including goods in, goods out, picking, loading and dispatching items.
Lead and motivate a team of operatives to ensure performance meets expectation, to include daily briefings and communication/management of rotas including holidays/sicknesses, etc.
Overseeing the end-to-end reverse logistics operation - checking goods, completing paperwork, reporting damages and discrepancies and liaising with the Admin department.
Identifying and actioning efficient improvements to warehouse processes.
Implement and enforce health & safety procedures within the warehouse, ensuring daily, weekly and monthly statutory H&S inspections are completed, and staff are aware and compliant.
Ensure company warehouse assets are controlled and accounted for
Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and prevented.
Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space to include layout and future capacity requirements, utilising the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Liaising with the Management team and other necessary departments such as the Transport Admin Office and Logistics, to ensure smooth fulfilment and distribution of orders.
The Candidate:
As the successful candidate for the Warehouse Manager, you will have the following:
-Minimum of three years experience as a Warehouse Manager.
-Understanding on Health & Safety regulations.
Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to build and empower a team.
-Excellent Communication & I.T Skills.
-Experience with WMS systems.
