A Wellingborough based business is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their successful warehousing team. Within this role you will work closely with the Operations Director and Production Manager. You will have responsibility for planning & monitoring the warehouse teams delivery and monitor targets & outputs.

This will include goods-in, goods-out, storage, inventory control, using their bespoke ERP system to schedule & record all functions within the department. The role will be based in Wellingborough however occasional travel throughout the UK may be required to learn & support other business areas.

Skills and Experience Required

• Experience of warehouse team management including handling dispatch & goods in
• Working knowledge of inventory control
• Minimum 3 years experience of using ERP/Production planning systems
• Knowledge of warehousing key performance indicators (KPI's)
• Experience of management and leadership skills
• Strong decision making & problem solving skills
• Setting, delivering & analysis of long term and short term strategic goals
• Team management experience including, development plans, absent management, managing productivity
• Excellent organisation skills
• Strong Communication skills both verbally & written
• Strong working knowledge of Excel

Desirable skills

• Events or Exhibition industry experience
• Change Management experience
• Six sigma or similar qualification

Salary & Benefits

• Salary of 30,000 - 35,000 per annum depending on experience
• Core working hours Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm
• Permanent role - 37.5 hours per week
• 31 days holiday including bank holidays with x2 good attendance days earned each year
