Your rate of pay and hours of work
This is a temporary assignment expected to last a duration of 12 weeks. Your rate of pay will be £13.00 to £14.00 per hour paid on a weekly basis, with holiday pay accrued on top. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am until 4pm.
Responsibilities within your new role
In this multifaceted role, your responsibilities include managing employees and overseeing all aspects of product movement while maintaining a professional and welcoming approach with customers and suppliers. You will implement the company's advertising and promotional strategies, manage costs, and forecast sales and business performance. Maximising financial performance and achieving targets require effective management of both the company and its employees. Regular liaison with internal departments and external entities, touring the production area for cleanliness and ensuring compliance with administrative tasks is vital. From coordinating stock management to conducting quality checks on finished goods, your role extends to addressing customer feedback, managing employee-related tasks, and liaising with external service providers for equipment maintenance. Unwavering adherence to company policies, rules, and procedures is expected throughout your responsibilities.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
Success in this position require prior experience as a Warehouse or Logistics Manager, Supervisor, or Team Leader. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to take charge of situations when required and possess the skills to gather, analyse, and solve problems using recognised problem-solving techniques. While a driver's license is considered advantageous, it is not mandatory for the role.
