The Malted Waffle Company is family business which has been running for over 35 years. We manufacture commercial waffle machines and waffle and pancake mixes for the food service industry. Our team consists of sales, customer service and the engineering and warehouse team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing company as part of our in house warehouse team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our small, friendly team. Candidates must be hard working, friendly and reliable.

The role is based in a warehouse picking and packing daily orders for dispatch. You will use delivery notes to label boxes ready to send to customers. Attention to detail and quality is very important. You must be able to comfortably lift 25kg maximum and moving over 100 boxes on a busy afternoon. You must be confident and competent in operating an electric pallet stacker. The right candidate will be happy working in a fast paced environment.

The right person for this role must be flexible with their daily tasks and be happy to take on different roles as required.

Key roles include but are not limited to:

Picking and packing orders

Stock management - including inventory and bringing stock into the warehouse

Warehouse maintenance - including keeping the space clean and tidy and organising stock

Buildings maintenance - sweeping the outside space and keeping the unit tidy and organised

Deliveries and pick ups from customers and suppliers if needed

Other job roles may be required

Must be able to travel to Lichfield Industrial Estate, Tamworth and have a clean drivers license.

Working hours will be 10-12 hours per week.

We estimate the following weekly schedule:

Monday 1pm-4:30pm

Tuesday 2pm-4pm

Wednesday 2pm-4pm

Thursday 2pm-4pm

Friday 2pm-3pm

Interviews available immediately, role to begin in the next few months.

This role will be on a three month fixed term contract with a view to extend after a successful probation period.

YOU MUST HAVE A CLEAN UK DRIVERS LICENSE FOR THIS ROLE.
