Warehouse Operative / Picker- Packer

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated Warehouse Operative / Picker-Packer to join an innovative, expanding local business based in Bangor, Gwynedd on a temporary full-time basis that could become permanent for the right candidate.

In the role of a Warehouse Operative / Picker- Packer you will be responsible for:

• Picking / Packing products effectively and efficiently, carrying out all filling and batching in line with customer orders
• Ensuring that all products are packaged correctly, and all SKU packaging codes correspond accordingly
• Carrying out pallet and product wrapping, banding / strapping goods
• Locating specific items from around the warehouse, and assisting with the loading of delivery vehicles
• Always maintaining good health & safety practices, including the proper manual handing of stock, and keeping areas clean and tidy
• Working as a part of a team to meet customer order requirements
• Other General Warehouse duties as and when required

To be considered for the Warehouse Operative / Picker - Packer role you must have:

• Previous experience in Warehouse, Picker-Packer, manual handling role
• Ability to work under pressure in a challenging and fast-moving environment
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual work with lots of lifting
• Proven ability to work independently and responsibly with minimal supervision, but also as part of a team
• A positive “can-do” attitude, hard-working and able to work under pressure
• An FLT licence and able to drive an Forklift truck would be an advantage
• Flexibility to work the occasional Saturday morning depending on the needs of the business  

This is a full-time temporary role that could become permanent for the right candidate, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, and an occasional Saturday morning on a rota basis. In exchange you will receive a salary of up to £11.50 per hour depending on skills and experience plus accrued
