WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

ARE YOU THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
The Warehouse Operative handles and processes stock within the Mayflex warehouse. The Warehouse Operative is responsible for meeting work targets and deadlines whilst achieving high quality standards in the Order Fulfillment of goods. Adhering to all Heath and Safety guidelines, the Warehouse Operative:
- Ensure that the various processes, procedures and general duties which are laid out for the area in which you are working are followed
- Applying a ‘clean as you go’ mentality
- Working to tight timescales to meet customer demands.
- Ensure quality standards are adhered to at all times. Report any stock damage to the shift team leader immediately, completing relevant paperwork and removing damaged items as appropriate.
- Actively support and comply with corporate and legislative Health and Safety requirements at all times, ensuring that machinery is only operated after full training or licensing has been given.
- Carry out relevant safety checks on machinery, prior to use, on every occasion without fail.
- Support other areas of the business as required by your team leader, Shift supervisor or Warehouse Shift manager
- Carry out any reasonable requests as required, to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING TO MAYFLEX?
- A Counterbalance Licence is desirable
- A Bendi Licence is desirable
- Educated to GCSE standard
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience of working within a team
- Good Organisational / Communication skills
