Loading Operative

Shift Pattern Availability: (4 out of 7)

Hours: 6pm-6am

Salary: Starting rate of GBP11.73, increasing to GBP12.04 once full trained.

Location: Wellington Parkway, Magna Park, Lutterworth, LE17 4XW

The Role

Our Operatives are (quite literally) the bread and butter of Geary s. You re responsible for ensuring the delicious bread we produce and package is of the best possible quality, that adds a spark of joy to people s daily lives. Your main responsibilities include:

• Checking Goods against delivery notes for accuracy and damages & completing paperwork
• Assist with stock takes
• Load and unload vehicles in line with H&S procedures
• Moves goods around to relevant departments using FLT or manual and Electric pump trucks
• Notify relevant departments if any shortages occur on deliveries
• Notify relevant companies if COA/COC are missing with deliveries
• Liaising with the technical team if a non-conformance need raising
• Physically moving stock onto pallets
• Ensure all stocks movements are accurately recorded

• Experience in manufacturing (even better if it was in a bakery)
• Good understanding of Food Safety and Health and Safety (the important bits!)
