Warehouse Coordinator (Vernon Hills, IL)
Tetra Pak Inc. is looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to be based out of our location in Vernon Hills, IL. This position has a key role within Tetra Pak's Supply Chain Operation, responsible for the receipt and storage of spare parts, as well as the fulfillment, checking, and packaging of sales orders.
What You Will Do
As a Warehouse Coordinator your key responsibilities will be:
- Pick and pack daily orders using various methods to include reach truck and stand-up forklift,
- Count items to ensure that the correct number have been picked before packing,
- Match orders information (correct part and quantity) with information on picking order to ensure accuracy,
- Pack orders to ensure the quality and quantity are safe for transportation to customers,
- Operator forklifts (stand-up and reach truck) to pick heavy items and transport them safely to the dock area,
- Process orders using SAP software,
- Process orders for shipping using FedEx Ship Manager software and DHL,
- Cycle count parts daily in lifts and racks (time permitting),
- Support the shipping and receiving area when needed,
- Follow 5S guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment,
- Restock packaging materials,
- On Call support required as needed.
This position is scheduled for Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Who You Are
We believe you have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred,
- Dependability and reliability,
- Good verbal and written communication skills,
- Basic math skills,
- Ability to read, understand, and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, and standard operating procedures,
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.,
- Forklift experience (stand-up and sit-down truck),
- Related experience involving warehouse support such as picking/packing orders, loading/unloading, recording material movement, etc.
