Warehouse Supervisor

The role of Warehouse Supervisor in Cannock will involve effectively managing a small team of operatives on the morning shift across the goods-in, picking/packing and outbound areas of the operation. This opportunity benefits from an excellent salary of 30,000- 32,500 (depending on experience) and other additional benefits, working 06:00-15:00 Monday to Friday.

Description

The role of Warehouse Supervisor in Cannock will involve:

• Managing a small team of colleagues.
• Ensuring customer orders are dispatched in a timely manner.
• Reporting data and KPIs to management.
• Ensuring items are loaded correctly into vehicles.
• Meeting and exceeding KPIs.
• Following all Health & Safety guidelines.
• Processing returned goods.
• Working one Sunday in six on a rotational basis (paid overtime).

Profile

The successful Warehouse Supervisor candidate will have:

• Previous experience managing teams in a busy distribution environment.
• Knowledge of goods-in, pick/pack and outbound.
• A lead by example and team player attitude towards work.
• Knowledge of HR functions such as staff reviews, investigations and disciplinaries.
• Good WMS/Microsoft Office knowledge.
• The ability to track and work towards KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills, internally and externally.
• A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.

Preferred:

• FLT Counterbalance experience.
• Knowledge of transport functions.
