Supreme Recruitment are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join one of our clients based in Lichfield on a permanent basis.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure that all products are unloaded and received within Standard Operating Processes (SOP) & checklists and company KPI s.
- Ensure that all non-conforming orders are quarantined in the designated area(s) for review and correction.
- Ability to analyse appropriate packing requirements to minimise potential for product damage and conduct all appropriate packing activities.
- Log all possible service failures and receiving errors onto the internal database to assist with training the team.
- Ensure that all priority receivers are processed within sales requirements.
- Ensure that all communication (e mails and telephones calls) are responded to in a timely manner with appropriate actions.
- Where required, support the warehouse team and the wider distribution team with other warehouse activities to optimise productivity and ensure quality of service is achieved.
- Understanding of warehouse functions, warehouse computer systems.
- Ensure that all local Health & Safety and Environmental policies are always adhered to.
- Comply with defined 6S principles and end of shift housekeeping checks.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Supervisor role
- A frequent and effective communicator through multiple channels (email, phone and in person)
- Ability to make
- Ability to challenge the status quo and push themselves outside their comfort zone.
- Sense of urgency balanced with good time management.
- Able to work with IT systems and proven ability in the use of M/S Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Ability to motivate a team, creating a strong sense of trust.

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, without compromising QA standards & processes.
- Flexible working approach.
- Personable and effective teaching and learning style.
- FLT license
Hours: Monday - Friday - Day shift
