Noble Recruiting are looking for an experienced Supervisor or Team Leader to join an established workforce within Tilbury and to further enhance their busy working environment. You will be a not only have the opportunity to lead a team but to lead by example and complete all work duties alongside your current workforce.
We are seeking to recruit 2 experienced Warehousing and Distribution Team Leaders to support our Client's needs due to internal growth of the operation.
We are looking for the successful candidate to be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills. The role will encompass ownership of the shift. Exceptional delivery to customer service both internally and externally is the key operational requirement of this role, along with the need for exceptional man-management.
The role will suit someone who is able to work to tight deadlines within a fast paced environment in order to be able to organise the team accordingly.

As a Team Leader your critical goal will be to ensure that you manage the teams work/plan to ensure work is picked correctly and loaded at the correct times to achieve maximum efficiencies.
You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. You will need to have worked within a similar environment previously and be a hands on leader.
The Role
• Picking and loading multi part orders via forklift (counterbalance) and hand-balling.
• Stock unloading and replenishment.
• Manual handling of timber products/sheet materials.
• Use of FLT counterbalance (must hold valid in date counter balance licence).
• Candidates must be happy to work off the forklift.
*INVOLVES HEAVY LIFTING*
Person specification:
- Must have a valid counterbalance forklift certificate.
- Must have forklift loading/unloading experience - either direct load or group-age is great.
- Warehousing Supervisory experience.
- Fit & healthy for heavy lifting of wooden doors, sheet materials alone.
- Good eye for detail and accuracy when checking product information against pick notes.
- Good organisational skills.
- Excellent leadership skill-set.
- Computer literate.
- Driver with own vehicle would be desirable but not essential due to hours.
