We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader In our Wellingborough site.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 3 off either Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday 08:00am – 18:00pm
Salary: £27289.6 per annum plus £2000 per annum warehouse supplement and £400 rotating shift allowance.

Job Description:

• Oversee the effective running of the shift to ensure products are safely handled through all inbound and outbound processes, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to, to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure all goods are handled in the correct manner to ensure that damage to kept to a minimum and manual handling techniques are followed to prevent injury and harm.
• Responsible for the smooth running of your designated shift, ensuring staff are briefed and managed in accordance with SOP’s and WI’s.
• Oversee employee relations procedures such as holiday authorisations to ensure sufficient levels of employees are available as required to meet operational demands, raising in a timely manner where additional staff are required either on a temporary or permanent basis.
• Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse, including supporting other teams and shifts as necessary.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, taking appropriate action where procedures are not being adhered to or could be improved.
• Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, taking appropriate action to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Ensure that all MHE is used in an appropriate manner, identifying and arranging relevant training to ensure there are enough trained employees to meet business demands.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Good level of general education, including good understanding of both written and verbal English
• Literate and numerate
• Previous experience of leading a team in a fast-moving operation.
• Previous warehouse experience is an advantage.
• Awareness of manual handling techniques is an advantage.
