A Web Designer in a pharmacy locum recruitment agency is responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving the online presence of the agency. As a Web Designer, the individual will be primarily responsible for designing our website as an e-commerce site as we will be carrying out our job posting & support locum employee to book their shift online. We will expect this staff to attain the highest standards of regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
The Web Designer will be responsible to:
• Design our Locum website from scratch which will be the first contact point for our clients;
• Maintain the site in a manner that our clients can stay with us throughout the entire period
• Keeping up to date with recent technological and software developments;
• Designing and developing user-friendly and responsive websites that showcase the agency’s services, vacancies, and candidates.
• Updating and managing the website content, such as adding new jobs, testimonials, news, and blogs.
• Ensuring the website is optimised for search engines, accessibility, and performance.
• Collaborating with other teams, such as marketing, sales, and IT, to ensure the website aligns with the agency’s brand identity and goals.
• Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues or bugs on the website.
• Researching and implementing new web technologies and trends to enhance the website’s functionality and user experience.
• Continuous search engine optimisation;
• Meet relevant legal requirements such as accessibility standards, freedom of information and privacy;
• Edit content, debug code and re-design web pages;
• Continuously test the website to ensure it's working without a millisecond of interruption;
• Research current design trends;
• Undertake CPD activities to keep up to date with new software developments, etc.
