Our client is seeking a reliable permanent Porter to join their team. The role is available initially on a temporary trial basis to candidate available to commit immediately. The Weekend Porter will work alone unsupervised and be the first point of contact for residents and all visitors to the building. Therefore do you have a strong sense of responsibility, self-disciplined with excellent timekeeping and a strong proven track record who can commit to a permanent weekend job? The role will involve regular walks of the residential development evert 2-3 hours to check for any maintenance defects or security breaches and therefore you will expect to walk at least 10,000 steps during the course of a shift. Other duties will anything from parcel and keys management to reactive maintenance queries or access control issues. Other routine tasks will be watching multiple CCTV cameras of all areas of the development from the management office, take calls, handling incoming parcel deliveries, access control, customer service with residents, visitors and contractors, taking detailed messages, investigating faults or complaints and providing detailed reports, fire safety checks etc.
