Welfare Benefits Caseworker

Morgan Hunt are proud to be working exclusively with Citizens Advice Hounslow on their search for a permanent Welfare Benefits Caseworker. Last year Citizens Advice Hounslow provided free, confidential advice to more than 9,300 clients across the borough, with over 32,000 problems. Over more than a third were welfare benefit issues, particularly Universal Credit. This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of a small team providing advice and practical support to clients with Welfare Benefits enquiries.Advising on available sources of income, including Welfare Benefits, grants, discretionary payments and other schemes, you will have advanced knowledge of Welfare Benefits and be able to deal with complex issues in a system where Universal Credit and legal benefits coexist.We are after someone with at least two years experience providing Welfare Benefits advice and casework. We are looking for a specialist in the Welfare Benefits field, you should have fantastic case management skills and accurate case recording capabilities. You should have experience of accompanying and representing clients at First Tier and Upper Tribunal hearings and ideally have worked within a Citizens Advice office.
