As a Wellbeing & Inclusion Manager at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you will be contributing to an ever-growing, established group that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

About the Role

  • This is a national role - so travelling will be expected.
  • Preferably based in the Midlands.
  • £41,870 - £46,000 + Car/Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

What will I be doing?

  • To delivery the company’s Wellness, Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) plans.
  • Responsible for identifying and implementing a broad range of wellbeing and I&D initiatives both online and on-site. The overall purpose being to support the wellbeing of all employees and develop our inclusive culture in which everyone in the company feels valued.
  • In liaison with the Chief Business Services Officer and H&S Director, identify and delivery agreed objectives spanning HR and H&S in relation to wellbeing, inclusion & diversity and any other associated HR or H&S initiatives.
  • Coordinate the regular Wellness for All webinars, generating ideas, sourcing experts/presenters and aligning the wellness agenda with the health and diversity annual calendars as well as managing all practical delivery requirements.
  • Generate ideas and develop initiatives to grow our wellbeing agenda, particularly looking to make it as inclusive as possible, for instance, in engaging our frontline workforce.
  • Produce high quality materials to support wellbeing and I&D initiatives, such as guides and video content.
  • Create content for internal and external channels that promotes wellbeing and inclusion.
  • Work with third party organisations to deliver elements of the wellbeing and I&D agenda.
  • Liaise with SUEZ at Group level on the wellbeing and I&D agendas under the direction of the Chief Business Services Officer, and H&S Director.
  • Assist with ensuring that all employees (office-based and operational) benefit from wellbeing and inclusion support through a network of Wellbeing and Inclusion Ambassadors across all regions.
  • Dotted line management of two Wellbeing and Inclusion Officers, contributing to their performance and development; ensuring they have the necessary skills, resources and objectives to deliver the Wellbeing and Inclusion vision across the business.
  • Prepare quarterly OpCom presentations on the achievements and progress of the wellbeing and inclusion and inclusion strategy.
  • Deliver an annual Wellbeing and Inclusion Conference, which reflects the businesses goals and objectives of our wellbeing and inclusion strategy and is accessible to our frontline workforce.
  • Deliver 3 virtual meetings and 1 annual conference for the Women’s Network which provides an opportunity for learning and development of the members.
  • Define the content and deliver quarterly Inclusion and Diversity Network meetings.
  • Coordinate and support the Inclusion and Diversity sub networks, disabilities, LGBTQIA+, and multicultural to raise awareness and promote allyship.
  • Coordinate quarterly Parent Wellbeing virtual meetings, generating ideas, sourcing experts/presenters as well as managing all practical delivery requirements.

What are the requirements?

  • Employee wellbeing and I&D experience and willingness to learn more
  • Educated to degree-level or equivalent
  • Experience of Corporate Communications (CIPR qualification)
  • Experience in event management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent writing skills - able to produce high-quality written copy for a range of audiences and different purposes
  • Excellent presentation skills - able to create and deliver high-quality and impactful presentations
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Advanced competency in the use of Microsoft applications, particularly Powerpoint with sound skills in Word and Excel
  • An ability to use social media platforms as well as GoToWebinar, zoom, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • An analytical approach and a high level of attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to operate effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Positive can-do attitude

A reasonable amount of travel will be required across the country.
