About The Service
Rent Smart Wales aims to safeguard tenants living in private rented housing by ensuring that landlords and agents know what’s required of them to comply with the laws in Wales. We do this by implementing the Housing (Wales) Act 2014, which requires landlords to register and either become licensed themselves or instruct a licensed agent to undertake letting and property management tasks. For more information visit our website. The service is run from Cardiff but protects private tenants and assist landlords and agents to comply across Wales. We are looking to set up a North Wales office. It is intended that this will be fully populated by Welsh speaking staff. Initially our recruits will work from home, while the project is in the set-up phase, but the expectation will be that staff will be co-located in time, most likely at the Llandudno Junction Welsh Government office. Rent Smart Wales is a modern SERVICE AND benefits form technology designed with the customer in mind, partnership arrangements with the 22 authorities across Wales and is being supported by a comprehensive marketing campaign.
About the job
We are looking to recruit Welsh speaking enthusiastic people to join our team as Customer Service Representatives The posts are part of a Contact Centre Team, delivering a high standard of CUSTOMER SERVICE via telephone and email. In addition, part of the role includes processing activities such as licence applications. The postholder will be required to support and advise a wide range of customers, both internal and external to the organisation and aim to make sure that customer enquiries are resolved at the initial point of contact, where possible.
What We Are Looking For From You
This is a Welsh Essential Position, which means that the successful applicant must be able to communicate effectively in spoken and written Welsh to a Level 4 Advanced standards. The successful candidate will also have experience of working in a customer focussed environment, have excellent communication, planning, prioritisation, and analysis skills, be an excellent team player and take a responsible approach to all tasks.
