About the Role: As a Women's Safety Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between survivors of domestic abuse and the Spotlight Programme, an established behaviour change initiative for perpetrators. Your role will be to provide practical and emotional support to women experiencing abuse, ensuring their needs are heard and addressed within the context of intervention with perpetrators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with survivors within 5 days of referral to the Spotlight Programme.
• Provide comprehensive support to survivors, prioritizing safety and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate case records and attend case management meetings to ensure effective communication.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and deliver tailored interventions.
• Promote service accessibility and actively seek referrals to maintain a full caseload.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in social work or related field.
• Significant experience working with survivors of domestic abuse and children/families with complex needs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Understanding of trauma-informed care principles and commitment to safeguarding.
• Knowledge of domestic abuse dynamics, equality, diversity issues, and relevant legislation.
