About The Role

The strategy seeks to connect people from all backgrounds and circumstances to the opportunities generated by Manchester’s thriving economy.

• Assist in the delivery of the Work and Skills Strategy, to oversee and provide support to a range of interventions / programmes of support to both businesses and residents across Manchester.

• The role provides the opportunity to work externally with a breadth of partners, businesses, VCSE organisations and residents but equally internally with a variety of teams within the Council.

About the Candidate

• Enthusiastic and motivated with a passion for helping and supporting residents and businesses.
  
• Someone with drive and ambition who will challenge, inspire and motivate others.
  
• Be able to adapt and respond appropriately to challenging and changing environments.
  
• Someone with excellent stakeholder / partnership working, both internally and externally.
  
• Good communication skills, able to produce reports and updates in a methodical and organised way.
