Our client is looking for an experienced Workday Business Analyst with specifically strong experience of GL. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to understand needs, streamline processes and drive automation initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses in-depth knowledge of IT service management and Agile methodologies and excellent analytical skills.
The role plays a key part in enhancing operational efficiency, user experience, and overall productivity by designing configuring, and optimising modules. As such, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.
Key skills & experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in development, configuration, implementation and support (Workday Financial Implementation is preferred).
- Strong experience of Workday General Ledger.
- Configure and manage Financial Systems modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management & Financial Reporting.
- Solid Finance / Accounting experience.
- Knowledge of financial transactions, system configurations, and impact of ERP transactions on the General Ledger and supporting financial schedules.
- You will act as the primary contact for Financial Systems-related inquiries, issues/enhancements.
- Good understanding of Financial Systems modules, configurations & integrations.
- Experience delivering large scale Workday Financial engagements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication both oral and written.
- Any certification(s) in Workday Financials would be a distinct advantage.
