We have an excellent opportunity for a Workforce Planning Deployment Analyst to join our growing Workforce Strategy & Insights team. Supporting a Deployment Lead and working closely with COO, Finance and wider HR teams, you’ll contribute to the deployment of innovative processes enabling the business to achieve their Workforce Strategy objectives. In doing so you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to HR and wider HSBC strategic roadmaps.

Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. We facilitate talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.

In this role you will:

•    Works collaboratively with Workforce planning team to understand, influence and develop the WFP policy, technology and analysis.
•    Deploys Workforce Planning practices to Global Banking, Functions and Digital Business Services & Geography teams.
•    Provide context of Workforce Planning activity and demonstrate strategic alignment with other key HR workstreams.
•    Supports the Workforce Management team with the process and governance of Job Architecture reviews with GB/GF/DBS Job Family owners. 
•    Employs agile operating model principles; managing work through features, epics & stories with Scrum Masters to facilitate delivery of scoped and sized packages of work.
•    Engages with relevant areas of WSI to assist with development and deployment of Workforce Planning practice including Data engineering, Enablement and the Consulting teams.
•    Continuously improves Workforce Planning processes through collaborative working with Global Banking, Functions and Digital Business Services.

Request

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    A good understanding of Workforce Planning.
•    An understanding of technology, ideally workforce planning/HR technology otherwise broader knowledge and exposure to technology would be essential.
•    Evidence of designing and deploying solutions (processes).
•    Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate and interact effectively with senior stakeholders. 

This role is based in: UK with hybrid working, preferably Birmingham.
